The Rochester Carillon
The tower atop the Plummer Building houses the Rochester Carillon (a set of fixed chromatically tuned bells sounded by hammers controlled from a keyboard). The 56-bell carillon is the most complete carillon in North America. Concerts are performed every Monday at 7pm and Wednesdays and Fridays at noon. Concerts are 20 to 25 minutes long and can be heard outdoors in the downtown area.
