Opened in May 2004, the Rochester Art Center is part of the Rochester Cultural Campus, along with the Mayo Civic Center, Rochester Civic Music and more. The gallery's permanent collection features such artists as Salvador Dali, Alexander Calder, Jack Beal and Philip Pearlstein. Traveling exhibits are also a part of the galleries philosophy.
